Existence and Knowledge

Existence and Knowledge

Journal of Existence and Knowledge is a continuation of the journal of Nameh Mofid which has been published continuously by Mofid University since 1995. From the beginning of 1995, Nameh Mofid, as the first and only scientific-research journal published in the holy city of Qom, published articles for 11 years in various fields of humanities, especially economical, philosophical, legal, Quranic and political sciences. Following the qualitative growth of the scientific community of the country and the specialization of academic journals, Since 2005 Nameh Mofid also limited its activities to only three specialized titles: “Philosophical Letter”, “Economic Letter” and “Legal Letter”. According to the new policy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on specialization of academic journals, it was decided that each journal should not only work on one subject, but also limit its scope of activity in that field to specific fields. In addition, according to the aforementioned policies, academic journals were asked to change their names accordingly. Following these policies, from the beginning of 2010, Nameh Mofid is published with the more specialized titles of “Existence and Knowledge”, “Economic Policies” and “Comparative Law”. Therefore, “Existence and Knowledge” is in fact the new name of a journal that was previously known as “Philosophical Letter of Nameh Mofid”. Therefore Journal of Existence and Knowledge is in fact the new name of a journal that was previously known as “Philosophical Letter of Nameh Mofid”. We thank God that we succeeded in all these years of uninterrupted service to the scientific community of our country; however, difficulties are always an obstacle to the publication of academic journals. These problems are such that less academic journals stand out and are published for many years. With the help of God Almighty, we set out to continue.

The Journal of Existence and Knowledge invites submission of high quality research papers on any aspects of philosophy by professors, scholars, experts and those interested in the field to help us provide a venue for studies disseminating new perspectives on the theory of philosophy in the world.
