چکیده

پیتر ون اینواگن در همان حال که فیلسوفِ مهم و تاثیرگذاری‌ است، دربسیاری از مواضع، مطابق روشِ متداول فلاسفه تحلیلی بحث را پیش نمی‌برد و این منجر به اتخاذِ برخی مواضعِ نامتعارف از طرفِ او شده‌است. در این مقاله سعی کرده‌ایم تصویری روشن از نگاهِ او، به فلسفه و روشِ درستِ آن ارائه دهیم. برای این کار، مستقیماً به سراغ تعدادی از آثار او رفته‌ و سعی کردیم مولفه‌های فرافلسفه او، یعنی نگاه او به استدلال، تعریف و تحلیلِ واژگانِ فلسفی، متافیزیک، شهودِ فلسفی و فراهستی‌شناسی را استخراج کرده تا با کنارهم قرار دادن این مولفه‌ها، تصویر‌مان را از فرافلسفه او کامل‌تر کنیم. به باور نویسنده‌گان، بدون درنظر گرفتن این تصویرِ کامل، فهمِ فلسفه‌ورزی او به درستی ممکن نخواهد بود. بنابراین هر یک از بخش‌های این مقاله درنظر دارد به یک سوالِ فرافلسفی در نظرِ این فیلسوف، پاسخ دهد و نویسده‌گانِ آن باور دارند که کنارهم قرار دادن این پاسخ‌ها می‌تواند تصویر خوبی از فرافلسفه او ارائه دهد.

چکیده [English]

Peter van Inwagen, despite of his influence in the contemporary philosophy, not in spare places, does argue and analysis contra to the accepted ways and jargon of the contemporary analytical philosophy. This has led him to adopt some unusual positions. For these perplexities we believe that his methodology and metaphilosophy need to be reconsidered. In this paper, we try to make clear his view about philosophy and its appropriate method. To do this, we will directly go through his philosophical works and try to spell out the components of his metaphilosophical puzzle: how to argue, how to define, how to analysis philosophical jargons, how to do metaphysics, what is the philosophical intuition, and metaontology. Putting all of these together will provide a complete picture of his metaphilosophy. Therefore, each section of this paper investigates one of these metaphilosophical questions. Without taking this picture to the consideration, we believe that will be impossible to understand his philosophy and its arguments properly.
